Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe in this movie Young Chandru (Prem), a ticket-seller at the city bus station feels that he will surely meet the girl of his dreams one day, a thought that is supported by his friends too. Similarly Sandhya (Namratha), who lives in a village, is confident God has made a boy especially for her, a boy who is waiting for her somewhere in the world, a thought infused in her mind by her father.
Sandhya happens to come to the city for attending a folk festival. This is when she first meets Chandru and they both experience a different kind of feeling when they meet.
