Preethse is a remake version of Hindi movie Darr and it is a romantic thriller directed by D Rajendra Babu and produced by Rockline Venkatesh under Rockline Entertainments banner while Hamsalekha scored music for this movie.

Shiva Rajkumar, Upendra and Sonali Bendre are played the main lead roles along with Anant Nag, Vanitha Vasu, Srinath are seen in supporting roles in this movie.
