Ricky Story

Ricky movie is romantic entertainer with naxalism backdrop written and directed by Rishab Shetty and produced by S. V. Babu. In which, Rakshit Shetty and Haripriya are playing the lead roles while Pramod Shetty and Achyuth Kumar are seen in supporting roles.

Story 

Ricky is an unusual never ending and immortal love story between Radha (Haripriya) & Radha Krishna (Rakshit Shetty). The actual story opens up, when audiences expect to see the love and romance bewteen lead pair.

The hero departures to Kashmir on his work from his family and his love Radha. The things go wrong when Radha's house is acquired forcefully by SEZ.  Why will Radha transform as comrade Seetha, a naxalite? What happens between Radha and Ricky after they get engaged? How will Ricky loose his lady love forms the rest of the story. 

Production

Rishab Shetty, who had earlier starred in Rakshit Shetty's Ulidavaru Kandanthe turned director for the first time with this film. It was revealed in February 2014 that Rakshit Shetty, Kishore and Achyuth Kumar signed for the film. Haripriya was signed as the female lead opposite Rakshit Shetty.

Filming

It was revealed by the official twitter handle of the film that shooting commenced on September 1, 2014, also revealing the first look poster of the film. Filming began in Karkala, Udupi district. Majority of the filming took place in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada. Rakshit Shetty confirmed that 90 percent of the filming was completed by October 12th in a span of 42 days with a song sequence to be shot in Gujarat. The director revealed that songs and fight sequences were to be shot in Bengaluru.
