Rippan Swaamy Story

Rippan Swaamy is a Kannada action suspense thriller written and directed by Kishor Mudubidire. The film features Vijay Raghavendra and Ashwini Chandrashekar in the lead roles, supported by Prakash Thuminadu, Vajradheer Jain, Yamuna Srinidhi, Krishnamurthy Kavattaru, Santhosh Shetty, and several others in key roles. The music is composed by Samuel ABY, with cinematography by Ranghanath C. M. and editing by Shashank Narayana. Story

In the serene Malenadu region, a landlord named Swami, infamously called Rippan Swami, is known among villagers for his strange and unpredictable behavior. With a fierce temper and a habit of picking quarrels over the smallest issues, he often appears as a mysterious and feared figure. Though loyal to his friends to the point of going to any extent for them, his quick anger just as easily drives him away from them. For the villagers, Swami remains an enigma, someone who can be both protective and destructive at the same time.

Amidst this rough exterior, Rippan Swami too experiences love, and the woman he falls for eventually becomes his wife. However, the village is left stunned when the news of his sudden death spreads, raising countless unanswered questions. Why was Swami always consumed by rage? What led to his tragic end? As the story unfolds, the film gradually reveals the hidden layers of his life and the truth behind his mysterious journey.
