Chennai Express Writer Teams Up With Darshan

Yunus Sajawal, a long time associate of Bollywood director Rohit Shetty,is all set to work for a Kannada movie. The makers of Sandalwood's forthcoming movie Jaggu Dada starring Challenging Star Darshan has roped in Yunus to work for the script.

Yunus Sajawal had penned the lyrics for Shahrukh Khan starrer Chennai Express, which was directed by Rohit Shetty. The movie caught the attention of South Indian moviegoers as it is set in the backdrop of Tamil Nadu.

Director Dinakar Thoogudeep has confirmed the news of Yunus working in Kannada movie. Talking about Jaggu Daada, Dinakar said, "It's a comedy and will see Darshan play a rowdy as the title suggests." He also said that it is an interesting project, which is being directed by Raghavendra Hegde.

Dinakar also revealed that he will be directing Darshan's 50th movie under their home banner 'Thoogudeepa Productions' for which he is coming up with wonderful script. He has titled the movie as Sarvantharyaami, which is said to be a long term plan and slated to release in 2016.

However, Darshan, who is presently busy wrapping up multi-starrer movie Ambareesha, will start shooting for Airavata shortly. The muhurtha of the movie is scheduled to be held on actor's birthday, February 16. Meanwhile, he has also signed Chakravarthy, which will be directed by Dinakar's associate Chinthan.
