It is reported that the crowd mobbed Yash after the screening of the movie, where the actor was spotted giving pose to the cameras in the movie hall. Gajakesari, the directorial debut of cinematographer Krishna is still running packed in Karnataka. Sharing his experience, Yash said, "For the 6 pm show the theatre was about 80 percent full. I was told the 6 pm show never happens here and this was a rare occasion when a show and the one after that were both houseful. Both the shows were a grand success. Nagendra (Kasturi media is organizing the US release of Gajakesari) managed everything so well. The turnout was great. Those who watched the film really enjoyed it. I was mobbed by the audience and the atmosphere was no less compared to a single screen theatre. People were whistling and screaming and clapping. It was an electrifying experience."
