Things took an ugly turn when Kim Soo-hyun's butt-n*ked picture, which was snapped at Sae-ron's house, was leaked on the internet. Later, 'Queens of Tears' actor's agency GOLDMEDALIST confirmed that it was Soo-hyun in the picture. They further claimed that it was a picture from their dating days.
Kim Soo-hyun & Kim Sae-ron Scandal: Seoul Police To Begin Probe Soon
As reported by Chosun Buzz, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency has revealed that they will begin an investigation on the cases involving Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron. On March 24, the officials mentioned that Kim Soo-hyun's side filed complaint against Kim Sae-ron's family, the operator of GaroSero Research Institute Kim Se-eui on the 'charges of blackmail and violating the Special Act on the Punishment of S*xual Crimes'. "The complaint was received at Gangnam Police Station on the 20th, and an investigation, including questioning the complainant, will be conducted, (sic)" the stated.
On the other hand, the late actress' family also filed complaint against YouTuber Lee Jin-ho for spreading 'falsehood'.

Journalist-turned-YouTuber Lee Jin-ho is back with yet another video in which he made some shocking revelations about late Kim Sae-ron's medical expenses before her death. According to Allkpop, Jin-ho claimed that Sae-ron was under a substantial debt because of her alleged self-harm incidents, which was later covered by her agency. But the agency later recorded it as a loan, the YouTuber claimed.
In the video titled 'Kim Sae Ron's Final Recording - The Heartbreaking Truth Behind Her Hospital Bills', Lee Jin-ho was quoted saying,"I previously reported that Kim Sae Ron allegedly attempted to take her own life last year, which resulted in hospital bills of 5 million won (~3,400 USD) per visit. At the time, she reportedly didn't have the money, so her agency covered the expenses, which were later recorded as a loan. Some have questioned whether the agency pocketed the money or committed fraud, arguing that there's no way hospital fees could amount to 5 million won. (sic)"
Kim Sae-ron's Final Recording Goes Viral
In the same video, Jin-ho further explained why Sae-ron's medical expenses were so high, while in typical cases, the emergency treatment in South Korea rarely costs more than 4000,000 to 1 million won (~270 to 680 USD). He clarified that Kim Sae-ron's case different. To support his statement, the YouTuber added a phone call recording between Sae-ron and a close acquaintance.
In the recording, the actress can be hear saying, as quoted by the same portal, "I tore the ligaments and tendons in my arm. It's pretty bad, so I need surgery, but it's not covered by insurance. I need about 5 million won. (sic)"
Most people would call their family in a situation like this. But perhaps she was worried about burdening them financially or emotionally. It seems the late actress led a very lonely and difficult life, (sic)" Lee added.
Amid the growing tension, Kim Soo hyun is likely to make his first public appearance in Taiwan for a meet-and-greet on March 30, 2025.
