Kim Soo Hyun Controversy: Fans Announce Legal Action For Defamation
Ever since the day of the dating controversy with 'Bloodhounds' actress Kim Sae Ron, the die-hard fans of Kim Soo Hyun took a pledge to stand by their favourite Korean star. Amidst the ongoing drama, Kim Soo-hyun's Fan Union, including Daum Cafe Eucharis and DC Inside's Kim Soo Hyun Gallery, has announced a movement against those who are spreading 'false' and 'malicious rumours' against the actor and targeting him online, as reported by Allkpop.
In the wake of the ongoing tension, the fans have announced legal action against the defamation.
As per the same reports, the statement issued by the same Fan Union stated, "There has been an ongoing spread of malicious rumors and defamation targeting Kim Soo Hyun by individuals unrelated to him through online communities and social media. We are currently pursuing a criminal complaint. (sic)"
"This is a voluntary movement to protect the actor's rights and preserve a healthy fan culture. We will not tolerate personal attacks or defamatory comments disguised as freedom of expression. No leniency will be shown, (sic)" the statement added.

Kim Soo-hyun's dating scandal with late actress Kim Sae-ron, which erupted earleir in march this year, refuses to die down. Amid the chaos, the 37-year-old actor's name has been left out from the thank you list G-DRAGON's recent show 'Good Day'.
The BIGBANG star G-Dragon's show ended recently. During the airing, Kim Soo-hyun's controversy took over the headlines and following a major backlash, the makers were forced to postpone the release of the 6th episode. As per reports, this episode featured a specially edited out parts of Soo-hyun's recorded segment alongside the 88-liners.
To note, Good Day's thank-you list also didn't include Jung Hae In, Lee Soo Hyuk, Yim Siwan and Hwang Kwang Hee's names.
