Following the series of allegations, the late actress' bereaved family held a press conference yesterday (Thursday, March 27) in Seoul, in which their attorney shared a series of screenshots, raising the question of authenticity later among fans.

On Thursday, the legal representative of late Kim Sae-ron's family, Bu Ji-Seok, held a press conference at the Space Share, Gangnam Station, in Seocho-dong, Seoul. As per Allkpop, a series of private conversation between Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron, dated back in 2016 when she was still a minor, which took place on KakaoTalk. The alleged chats seemingly hinted at that they were indeed dating at that time.

For those unversed, the 'Queen of Tears' actor's agency Gold Medalist had previously denied allegations of Kim Soo-hyun dating 'minor' Kim Sae-ron. The agency issued an official statement and claimed that they had started dating only after the Bloodhounds actress turned an adult.

In the shared screenshots, Kim Soo-hyun can bee seen asking Sae-ron firs hugs and kisses. In another screenshot, Kim Soo-hyun was allegedly seen asking Sae-ron how long it would take her to let him get close to her physically.

Soon after this, a section of the netizens started questioning the authenticity of the chats. They also accused the attorney for altering or editing the chats between the past couple.

Kim Sae-ron's Family Attorney Reacts To Accusations Of Altering Her Chats With Kim Soo-hyun

Bu Ji-seok, the bereaved family's legal representative, finally broke his silence on the ongoing allegations labelled against him and Sae-ron's family. As per Koreaboo, Ji-seok responded to the allegations and stated that the chats were released without altering or editing a single word. "the images released were formatted without a single word being changed."

Stressing further that the released content was just the same as the original, the lawyer stated, as per CBS No Cut News. "Chat logs are frequently restructured in new image formats instead of being released as original screenshots for reasons like protecting privacy, improving clarity, or handling legal complexities. (sic)"

"But I rebuilt it without altering a single word, and nothing was sanitized," he added. The lawyer also clarified that Kim Sae-ron's conversation with her 'aunt' were also 'reconstructed' in the same manner.
