Director Alleges Actor Vijayakumar's Non-Cooperation Caused Financial Strain In 'Akasham Kaddannu' Production: Siddiq Kodiyathur, the director of the film "Akasham Kaddannu," held a press conference, alleging that actor Vijayakumar's non-cooperation caused financial burdens and difficulties during the film's production.
Originally scheduled for a May 20 release, the film faced delays due to court interference. Vijayakumar only participated for 11 days out of the 15-day schedule and later opposed the film, leading to script changes and filming challenges, as per the director's accusations.

Siddiq Kodiyathur, a renowned home movie director, helms the film under the banner of Dawn Cinemas. "Akasham Kaddannu" portrays the inner lives of differently-abled individuals and their families.
The movie features Amal Iqbal, who is differently abled, in the lead role alongside Vijayakumar, Ibrahimkutty, Maqbool Salmaan, Shafi Kollam, Kolapulli Leela, Priya Sreejith, Bhuvaneshwari Biju, and others. The film is distributed by 72 Film Company and produced by Siddique P., with co-producers Rahman Pokermaranchery, Salim Lamees, and Fazal Parambadan.
The film's crew includes cinematographer Latif Maranchery, editor Shameer, lyricists Hamza Kayanikkara and Ameen Karakunnu, and music composers Muhsin Kurikkal and KP Najmuddin. Singers Sithara Krishnakumar, Nithya Mammen, Vishnuprakash, and Salahuddin Mannarkkad lend their voices to the film.
Ali handles the art, Punalur Ravi the makeup, and Sandeep Tirur the costumes. Sudhir T. Koottayi is the project designer, and Shaukat Vandoor serves as the production controller. The film's creative head is Aseem Kottoor, with Tanvin Naseer as the associate director and Kalidas Edavannapara as the still photographer. MK Shejin is the PRO.
