Ammakilikkoodu Story

Ammakilikkoodu movie is set in a 'Karunalayam', an old age home where old mothers are dumped by their ungrateful children. The huge building is a solid real estate property owned by Eradi, a rich businessman. His attempt to evict the old women from there does not work and he employs a shrewd guy Vivek (Pritviraj) to do the work for him. He wants to build a shopping complex in that place and further his business empire and thus Vivek comes to the old age home.

But Vivek is bowled over by the love of all the mothers like Marykutty teacher (Kaviyoor Ponnamma), Parvathy Amma (Sukumari) and Saraswathi Amma (K.P.A.C.Lalitha). He understands their loneliness and soon he meets Akhila (Navya Nair) an aggressive young girl who is a regular visitor to the old age home. Her mother Janaki lives there fearing her sadistic husband. What happens to Vivek’s mission? How does he solve the problems? All these leads to a twist in the climax.
