Barroz 3D–Guardian of Treasure is a fantasy Malayalam movie directed by Actor Mohanlal. The film features Mohanlal in the lead role.
The script is penned by Jijo Punnoose, who is known for having directed India's first 3D film, 'My Dear Kuttichathan'. Barroz is a fantasy 3D drama, made at a cost of Rs 100 crores which marked the directorial venture of Actor Mohanlal. The film is being produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Productions and was announced in 2019.
Movie Plot
Barroz tells the story of an immortal guardian, Barroz, tasked with protecting a priceless treasure linked to the legendary Vasco da Gama. Entrusted with this mission, he must ensure that the treasure remains safe until the rightful heir claims it. However, Barroz's solitary existence is disrupted when he crosses paths with a young girl, whose presence challenges his long-held beliefs. The film masterfully blends history, mythology, and fantasy, offering a fresh and captivating narrative that weaves together elements of adventure, legacy, and transformation.
