Celluloid Story
Celluloid is a biopic based on the life story of J. C. Daniel, the pioneer of Malayalam film industry. It also takes a peek into the life of P K Rosy, the first heroine in Malayalam.
The film is an attempt to identify how and why Daniel and Rosy were disregarded by and isolated from both life and cinema and thus pay penance to the cruelty meted out to them by the Malayalam film industry.
Prithviraj appears as J C Daniel and Mamta Mohandas does the role of Janet, wife to J C Daniel.
