Daveed Story

'Daveed' is a Malayalam action drama directed by debutant Govind Vishnu, featuring Antony Varghese in the lead role.

The script, co-written by Govind Vishnu and Deepu Rajeevan, is produced by  Aby Alex Abraham, and Tom Joseph under the banner of Century Max John Mary Productions LLP, Panorama Studios. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Lijomol Jose, Vijayaraghavan, Saiju Kurup, Kichu Tellus, Jess Kukku, and Mohammad Karakki in prominent roles.

The movie's visual storytelling is brought to life through the cinematography of Salu K Thomas, with editing by Rakesh Cherumadam. The sound design, crafted by Renganaath Ravee, and the music direction by Justin Varghese, enhance the film's immersive experience. Movie Plot
The story follows a lazy, underdog family man who has long settled into a mundane existence, far removed from his former self. Once brimming with ambition, he now drifts through life, avoiding challenges and responsibility. However, his world is turned upside down when a fateful incident leads to a personal dignity clash with a reigning boxing world champion. What begins as a moment of humiliation escalates into an unexpected showdown a high-stakes boxing match that he is neither prepared for nor willing to take on.

Forced to step into the ring, he must confront not only his opponent but also his own fears, regrets, and the identity he lost along the way. As he undergoes grueling training and faces overwhelming odds, the journey transforms into more than just a fight it becomes a battle for redemption, self-respect, and the chance to prove that he is more than the man he has become.
