Family Story

Family is a Malayalam movie directed by Don Palanthara. The film features Vinay Forrt, Divya Prabha and Mathew Thomas in the lead roles.

The film was produced by Jyothi Krishna, and Sanita Chittilappilly under the banner of Newton Cinema. The script for the movie was penned by the director Don Palathara co-associate with Sherin Catherine. Jaleel Badusha handled the cinematography while editing by Don Palathara. Basil CJ composed music for the movie.  On January 28, 2023, the movie made its debut at the 52nd International Film Festival of Rotterdam (IFFR). Additionally, it had a screening at the 14th Bengaluru International Film Festival in 2023.


Movie Plot

This narrative explores the life of a guy admired for his seeming intelligence and kindness. Beneath this façade, though, lies a darker side to him, he is a repressed narcissist who routinely abuses his family. A shocking discovery that highlights the glaring contradiction in his personality comes to light when some of the group begin to uncover his wrongdoings. The story follows the unpleasant process of discovering the unspoken truth about this person's dual identity and the significant effects it has on everyone around him.
