Kakkakarumban movie is about Ramesan (Siddharth) who is an orphan, dark as a crow with a big black mole on his cheek. That why people in the village call him Kakkakarumban.
His childhood was also as dark as his looks as he lost his mother at a very young age and had to bear the atrocities of his step-mother. He had to discontinue his studies and work hard for livelihood. Into his dark life enters Meenakshi (Meenakshi) and she changes his life.
