Maram Peyyumbol Movie is a real life story written and directed by Anil Thomas starring Mukesh and Anumol in the lead roles. Anumol is seen as the nurse. Other cast includes Vineeth, Lakshmi Nair, Irshad, Aiswarya Nambiar, Sona Nair etc..
The movie is based on a real life incident that happened in Mumbai 40 years back. A nurse was brutally raped by an attender in a hospital in mumbai. She went to coma after the incident.
Though the attender was put behind the bars, the nurse has not recovered yet from her coma state. Her relatives abandoned her. She is now been looked after by the hospital employees in Mumbai. They sought for mercy killing, but it did not happen since it is banned in India. The hospital staff said that they will look after her till her death.
