Mauryan Story

Mauryan movie tells Shivashangaran (Abbas) who is the son of dance teacher Yamini (Geetha).  Exceptional circumstances put him in a juvenile correction centre. He escapes from there and flees to Palani, where he introduces himself Selvan from Theni, and teams up with Patti (Manorama) and her adopted daughter and flower vendor Shankari (Suja Karthika) who live in a slum.

Years later Selvan's mother Yamini, who is still in search of her son, comes to Palani to fulfill a Nercha she had obligated herself to in order to find her lost son. Selvans childhood friend Anjali (Geethu Mohandas) also comes to Palani on a project work. She recognizes Selvan and his mother and from then on, the story takes on a different perspective.
