Oru Jaathi Jathakam is a Malayalam family drama helmed by popular director M Mohanan. It features Vineeth Sreenivasan in the lead role.
Written by Rakesh Mantodi and produced by Maha Subair under the banner of Varnachithra Films. Apart from Sreenivasan and Vineeth Sreenivasan, the movie features Nikhila Vimal, Sayanora Philip, ju Varghese, Babu Antony, actor-director Mridul Nair, Isha Talwar, Vidhu Prathap, Ranjitha Madhu, and PP Kunhikrishnan in the lead roles. The cinematography for the 'Oru Jaathi Oru Jathakam' was handled by Hridayam fame Viswajith Odukathil, editing by Ranjan Abraham, and music by Guna Balasubramanian.
Movie Plot
The story follows a man in his late 30s who is caught in the relentless pursuit of finding the perfect life partner. Bound by the conditions set by both himself and his family, his search becomes an emotional and often frustrating journey. As he navigates societal expectations, familial pressures, and his own evolving desires, he begins to question whether perfection truly exists or if he has been chasing an illusion all along.
