Padmini Story
Padmini is a 2023 Malayalam-drama is directed by Senna Hegde and the script is penned by Deepu Pradeep. The film stars Kunchako Boban, Aparna Balamurali and Madonna Sebastian in the lead roles.
Touted to be a rom-com entertainer, it also marks the second collaboration of film maker Senna Hegde with actor Kunchako Boban. Previously, the two were worked together for their 2021 release 'Bheemantea Vazhi'.The film is produced by Prasobh Krishna jointly with Suvin K Varkey under the banner of Little Big films. Jakes Bejoy composed the music for the film and Sreeraj Raveendran is in charge of cinematography.
Movie Plot
The film narrates the story of a young man, who is a poet and college professor who has a strong desire to marry an innocent girl and follow a happy life. But his life turned out to be tragic after his wife eloped with her boyfriend by taking his Premier Padmini car on his first night. The shocking incident affected him mentally and he started to keep his distance from the people who are close to him. After the incident, he got a name 'Padmini' from his neighbors and family member, which also makes mentally down again. The unexpected twist in the movie shows how he is trying to overcome the issue by falling in love with a girl named Padmini. Like a complete feel-good drama, it connects the audience with the perfect blend of elements like comedy and romance in a good manner. The stellar performances of the star cast and dialogues are the major highlights of the movie.
