Pathemari movie is a family-drama from the national award winning director Salim Ahmed. Movie stars Mammootty, Sreenivasan and Joy Mathew in the lead role. Movie showcase the three various life stages of an NRI named Pallickal Narayanan(Mammootty), movie is set in the backdrop of 1960 to present.
As in the tagline pathemari will showcase the survival journey of gulf malayalies. It is for the second time Salim Ahmed and Mammootty joining together, Salim's earlier project with Mammootty (Kunjanathante Kada) was highly appreciated by critics as well as audiance and also won many international awards.
