Pathinettam Padi Story
Pathinettam Padi marks the directorial debut of actor-writer Shankar Ramakrishnan and is produced by Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadesan, and Arya, under the banner August Cinema. The movie Features a host of young actors in prominent roles, the film is expected to be a fresh attempt that would cater well to all sections of the audiences. Pathinettam Padi also has the presence of Mammootty in an extended cameo role and he will be seen appearing as John Abraham Palackal, a character that has already turned out to be hugely popular among the masses. Prithviraj, Arya, Unni Mukundan, Priyamani etc., are also a part of the star cast of the movie as they will be seen doing cameo roles.
The core plot of Pathinettam Padi revolves around a group of students, who belong to two different schools. A set of students come from a government school whereas the others belong to an international school meant for the rich. The movie takes us through the present and the past of these students.
Reportedly, Mammootty is essaying the role of a professor in Pathinettam Padi, which is scripted by director Shankar Ramakrishnan himself. The movie has its music composed by A H Kaashif. Sudeep Elamon has weilded the camera for Pathinettam Padi.
