Pennu Case Story
Pennu Case is a Malayalam comedy-drama directed by Febin Sidharth, featuring Nikhila Vimal in the lead role.
The screenplay is co-written by Febin Sidharth and Reshmi Radhakrishnan. Produced by Mukesh R Mehta, Rajesh Krishna, and CV Sarathi under E4 Experiments and London Talkies, the film has Shinoz as the cinematographer and Sarin Ramakrishnan as the editor.
Plot
It tells the story of a woman who is gradually pushed into a dark and disturbing cycle of fraudulent marriages, carried out solely for money. What begins as a desperate attempt to survive soon turns into a life of deception, emotional manipulation, and moral conflict. As she repeatedly enters sham marriages, the film explores her inner turmoil, the circumstances that trap her in this exploitative system, and the heavy personal cost of choosing survival over conscience. The narrative highlights themes of greed, vulnerability, and the societal pressures that can drive an ordinary person toward extraordinary wrongdoing.
