The story of Ranam is set against the backdrop of Detroit city. Aadhi is a youngster who is working with one of the gangs into drug peddling in the city. But once, he decides to opt out of these activities and what happens in the rest of the story has been narrated in Ranam.
The action-entertainer is set in an entirely different background. Apart from Prithviraj and Isha Talwar, Ranam also features actor Rahman in an important role. Ashwin Kumar and Nadhu are also a part of the cast list.
The movie has its music composed by Jakes Bejoy and editing of Ranam is done by Sreejith Sarang. Ranam is produced by Anand Payannur, Rani & Lawson Biju under the banner Yes Cinema Production & Lawson Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
