Rasam Story

Rasam (English: Taste) is a movie based on food, tastes, restaurants and catering services. Movie features Superstar Mohanlal(as himself), Indrajith, Varuna Shetty, Nedumudi Venu and Devan in the lead roles.

Movie story develops in Doha where Shekar Menon(Devan), a business tycoon arranges his daughter's wedding reception to be done in traditional Kerala style. Superstar Mohanlal is Menon's close friend, and he who suggest Vasudevan Namboothirippad's name to him, thus he invites Vasudevan to take up the catering works of his daughter Janaki's wedding reception. Accepting the offer, Namboothirippad , his son Balu(Indrajith), and helper Gopi (Nandu) goes to Doha.

Balu is a M-Tech holder, he reaches Gulf with the hope of getting some good job. During the days of marriage arrangements, some unexpected events happened and rest forms the plot of Rasam.

Rasam is directed by Rajeev Nath, produced under the banner of "Group Ten Entertainments". Noted singer Job composes music for the lines of Kavalam Narayana Panicker.
