Rekhachithram Story

Rekhachithram is a Malayalam historical movie directed by Jofin. T.Chacko and featuring Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan in the lead roles.

The screenplay, crafted by John Manthrikal, brings a rich narrative to life, supported by producers Venu Kunnappilly and Anto Joseph under the banners of Kavya Film Company and Ann Mega Media. Movie Plot

Vivek, a brilliant yet flawed police officer, faces suspension after being caught playing online rummy during work hours, a consequence of his gambling addiction. This professional misstep subjects him to humiliation and ridicule among his peers. Upon his return, Vivek is transferred to the remote Malakkara police station as a punitive measure. However, what seems like a dead-end assignment soon takes an unexpected turn.

The case centers on the chilling disappearance and murder of Sister Rekha Pathrose, a young woman whose tragic story has been obscured by the passage of time. As Vivek delves into the decades-old mystery, he unearths a tangled web of secrets, hidden connections, and long-buried lies that rock the local community to its core. Each revelation raises new questions, drawing the audience deeper into the suspense and intrigue, right up to the gripping final twist.
