UYiR Story

UYiR is an upcoming Malayalam crime investigation thriller written by Anshad S and directed by M. Padmakumar. The film features Roshan Mathew and Saiyami Kher in the lead roles, supported by Baiju Santhosh, Vinoth Sagar, Athulya Chandra, Shruthy Menon, Vineeth Thattil, Santhosh Thrivikraman, Shaju Sreedhar, Srikant Murali, and several other notable actors. The film's music is composed by Manikandan Ayyappa, while Ajay David Kachappilly handles the cinematography and Ranjan Abraham oversees the editing. Produced by Santhosh Thrivikraman Bansal under the Wow Cinemas banner, UYiR promises an engaging blend of suspense, mystery, and investigative drama.

Story

Inspired by real-life incidents, UYiR follows Ajeeb, a young probationary sub-inspector posted in a Kerala–Karnataka border town. When the decomposed body of an unidentified woman is discovered in a well, he takes up the challenging investigation despite having little evidence and limited support from his superiors. As Ajeeb digs deeper into the mystery with the help of ASI Joy, he uncovers hidden truths while battling his own psychological struggles, leading to a case that changes his life forever.
