Udayam movie is an action drama. Jitendra IPS (Anil Nath) who arrives from London to investigate the death of Viswanathan (Siddique) his guru. Jithendra as Assistant Commissioner finds that its Kochuvrkey (Saikumar) who is a ganja plantation owner is behind the murder. His fiancée Anju (Nandini) comes from London to help him. Jithendra suspects Viswanathan’s wife Lalitha (Sona Nair) and her younger sister Anitha (Manya). The meeting with Anitha gives a new angle to the investigations.
