As per the latest updates, The Great Father has made a total gross collection of 15.3 Crores, from its 3 days theatrical run from the all-India box office. The movie has collected 11.34 Crores from the Kerala box office alone.

The Great Father made a total gross collection of 2.90 Crores on the second day of release, from the Kerala box office. It is quite an impressive box office figure, as it was a strike day in Kerala.
Third Day Kerala Collections
On the third day (April 1, Saturday), the Mammootty movie collected 4.3 Crores from the Kerala box office. The word of mouth publicity has highly helped the movie.
First 3 Days Kerala Collections
Thus, the Haneef Adeni directed movie has made a total gross collection of 11.34 Crores from the Kerala box office alone, within the first 3 days of its release.
The 2 Days Outside Kerala Collections
The Mammootty starrer, which hit the theatres outside Kerala on 31st March, earned 3.96 Crores from the rest of India releasing centres within its 2 days theatrical run.
Initial Collection Record
The Great Father made a record-breaking opening at the Kerala box office, by making a whopping collection of 4.31 Crores on its release day. The Mammootty movie thus emerged as the all-time highest initial collection-grosser of Mollywood.
The Mammootty starrer broke the records set by Rajinikanth starring Tamil flick Kabali and Mohanlal's Pulimurugan, which have made 4.25 Crores and 4.08 Crores initial collections respectively, at the Kerala box office.
The Great Father, which features Mammootty in the role of David Ninan, a builder, depicts the story of a father's revenge for his daughter. Kerala state award-winning child artist Baby Anikha appeared as David's daughter Sara David.
The trade experts suggest that The Great Father will emerge as the first 50-Crore movie in the lead actor Mammootty's career. The Great Father is produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadesan, and Arya, for August Cinema.
