Vinayakan Arrest: Mollywood actor Vinayakan found himself in police custody following a disturbance at the Ernakulam town police station in Kochi. The altercation unfolded in the context of a family matter, resulting in Vinayakan being charged with obstructing the station's operations.

WHY VINAYAKAN GOT ARRESTED?

Vinayakan, recently seen in Rajinikanth's Jailer, underwent a medical examination to assess his condition and he was reportedly appeared under the influence of alcohol, leading to a tumultuous situation. Law enforcement officials confirmed that the arrest was a result of his disruptive behavior, which disrupted the station's normal functioning.

The police stated that the actor, affected by alcohol, caused a commotion at the police station and verbally abused the officers. In response to this disruption, the police promptly filed a case against Vinayakan, citing his actions for disturbing the station's operations. This legal action ultimately led to his formal arrest.

Subsequently, Vinayakan was transported to the General Hospital for a medical examination. Initially, he had been summoned to the station due to noise complaints from his apartment. However, upon arriving at the station, he continued to create disturbance.

WHO IS VINAYAKAN, RAJINIKANTH'S JAILER VILLAIN?

For those who are unaware, Vinayakan is an Indian actor, former dancer, and composer known for his work in Malayalam and Tamil language films. He embarked on his career with a brief cameo in the 1995 movie Maanthrikam.

Vinayakan was honored with the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor for his outstanding portrayal of Ganga in Rajiv Ravi's Kammatipaadam. His notable roles encompass Edakochi Dude in Aadu - Oru Bheegara Jeevi Aanu and its sequel Aadu 2, as well as his performance as Ayyappan in Lijo Jose Pellissery's Ee.Ma.Yau.

He gained widespread recognition for his role as the antagonist Varman in Nelson Dilipkumar's Tamil-language action thriller film Jailer (2023), where he shared the screen with Rajinikanth.
