Bougainvillea Box Office Collection Day 3 (Early Updates): Fahadh Faasils' latest Malayalam release, Bougainvillea, is enjoying a decent run at the box office. Inspired by Jose's 2019 novel 'Ruthinte lokam', Bougainvillea is directed by Amal Neerad. The Malayalam psychological crime-thriller stars Fahadh Faasil, Jyothirmayi and Kunchacko Boban in the lead. The film also features Veena Nandakumar, Sharaf U Dheen and Srinda among others in pivotal roles.

The movie follows the story of a married couple, Reethu (played by Jyothirmayi) and Royce (played by Kunchacko). Their happy and peaceful married life takes a dramatic turn when meet with an accident. Reethu becomes a prime suspect of a case, which is being investigated by ACP David Koshy.

Bougainvillea marks renowned actress Jyothirmayi's return to cinemas after 11-long-years.

Amid decent buzz, Malayalam-language psychological crime-thriller 'Bougainvillea' had a solid start at the box office. As per Sacnilk, the movie opened to a strong box office collection of Rs 3.3 cr at the ticket counter. The film garnered mostly positive reviews form the audience and critics alike.

According to a report published by Sacnilk, Bougainvillea saw a drop by over 36% on 2nd day (Friday) and managed to earn approximately Rs 2.11 cr. The total 2-day estimated nett collection of the Fahadh Faasil starrer now stands at around Rs 5.41 crores.

Despite a drop on day 2, the movie has managed to maintain its hold at the box office. As per the latest Sacnilk updates, Bougainvillea has witnessed a growth today and managed to surpass yesterday's numbers today. As per the report suggests, the movie has raked in around Rs 2.53 cr (day 3, Saturday) till 9:15 pm IST.

Given the current buzz, the film is expected to maintain its upward pace today and tomorrow. The film is likely to cross the Rs 10-cr mark in the opening weekend.
