Samyuktha Menon At Breast Cancer Awareness Marathon

Samyuktha At Breast Cancer Awareness Marathon: October marks breast cancer awareness month across the globe, and it aims to create more awareness about the disease and ways to combat it before it becomes life threatening. To mark it, a marathon was organised by the Basavatarakam Indo American cancer hospital & Research Institute in Hyderabad where actress Samyuktha was invited as the chief guest.

The slogan for the 2024 campaign was 'No One Should Face Breast Cancer Alone - Together, It's Possible.' The marathon was flagged off by Samyuktha, along with actress Meenakshi Chaudhary, to kickstart the awareness event.

In her speech during the event, Samyuktha highlighted the importance of women performing regular self-examinations, undergoing early detection tests, and consulting oncology specialists, as these proactive measures can help prevent and control cancer when diagnosed in its early stages.

Highlighting the importance of the campaign, Samyuktha said, "This campaign is so important as it raises awareness about the importance of screening and detecting the disease at the right time which increases the chances of a cure. It was also inspiring to see the brave strong-willed women who survived the disease and see them all smiling." She also expressed admiration for the strength and resilience of cancer survivors who continue to live their lives with courage.

Samyuktha, who has starred in commercially successful films such as Kalki, Edakkad Battalion 06, Bheemla Nayak, Kaduva, Bimbisara, Gaalipata 2, Vaathi and Virupaksha, is set to make her Hindi film debut in the Kajol starrer Maharagni: Queen of Queens.
