Anali OTT Release: Where To Watch Nikhila Vimal Starrer: Malayalam cinema is all set to have a string of promising new releases on OTT, in 2026. One of them is Anali, the upcoming crime thriller series, which stars Nikhila Vimal and Leona Lishoy in the lead roles. The highly anticipated series, which has been making headlines lately with a legal case against it, is helmed by Midhun Manuel Thomas.

Anali OTT Release: Where To Watch Nikhila Vimal Starrer

The highly anticipated crime thriller series was officially announced as a part of Jio Hotstar's South slate for 2026, at the recently held Jio Hotstar South Unbound event. As per the reports, Anali is currently in the final stages of its production. If things go as planned, the Nikhila Vimal and Leona Lishoy starrer will have its grand OTT release on Jio Hotstar, during the first half of 2026.

Even though the makers are yet to finalise the official release date of the Midhun Manuel Thomas directorial, an official announcement revealing the same is expected to be out during the early 2026. If the reports are to be believed, Anali will stream on Jio Hotstar in over seven languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, and Bengali, just like the other popular Malayalam series Kerala Crime Files and 1000 Babies.

Anali Plot, Cast And Crew

If the reports are to be believed, Anali revolves around the infamous Koodathayi cyanide killings case. For the uninitiated, Jolly Joseph, the prime accused in the serial killings case, had recently moved to the court appealing to prevent the release of the upcoming Midhun Manuel Thomas directorial. However, her plea was rejected by the court, as the makers never announced the series to be based on the horrific murder case.

Leona Lishoy is expected to play the character inspired by Jolly Joseph in the upcoming Jio Hotstar series, while Nikhila Vimal appears as the protagonist. Anali is penned by director Midhun Manuel Thomas himself, along with John Manthirckal.
