Bha Bha Ba Vs Kalamkaval Box Office Collection Day 1: The action comedy film, which features Dileep in the lead role and Mohanlal in a special appearance, released on December 18, 2025. Despite receiving mixed reviews, Bha Bha Ba, directed by Dhananjay Shankar, has made a grand opening at the worldwide box office. However, the movie has failed to beat Kalamkaval, the recently released Mammootty starrer, with its Day 1 collection.

As per the recent updates from the trade experts including AB George, Bha Bha Ba has made a total opening collection of ₹14.82 crore from the worldwide box office. Even though Dileep's film was initially expected to cross the ₹15 crore mark with its Day 1 box office collections, it was missed by a small margin. The action comedy has officially failed to beat the Day 1 collections of Kalamkaval, the Mammootty, Vinayakan starrer which was released on December 5, 2025.

For the uninitiated, the Jithin K Jose directorial had made a massive opening at the worldwide box office, by collecting around ₹15.66 crore on Day 1, from the worldwide box office. Even though the Mammootty starrer is not a signature commercial film, the extremely well-made neo-noir crime thriller received excellent reviews from the audience, and was highly benefitted from the word-of-mouth publicity.

Bha Bha Ba Box Office: What's In Store?

The Dileep starrer, which marked the directorial debut of Dhananjay Shankar has impressed the actor's fans. However, the common audiences are having mixed to negative reactions to the film's making, performances, and its spoof nature. So, Bha Bha Ba has very less chances to pass the first Monday test at the box office, while considering the lack of positive word-of-mouth publicity.

The action comedy film features Vineeth Sreenivasan and Dhyan Sreenivasan, in the pivotal roles. Sandy Master, Baiju Santhosh, Ashokan, Maniyanpilla Raju, Devan, Balu Varghese, Sidharth Bharathan, Shaju Sreedhar, Saranya Ponvannan, Redin Kingsley, Vijay Menon, and others essay the supporting roles in Bha Bha Ba, which is bankrolled by Sree Gokulam Movies.
