As per the latest updates, the Mammootty starrer helmed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, is finally set to have its OTT release on the renowned platform, Zee5. Recently, the popular platform confirmed that it bagged the digital rights of Dominic And The Ladies Purse, in all languages. The crime comedy film will have its OTT release on Zee5 on Friday, December 19, 2025. More updates on the premiere time and available languages are expected to be out very soon.

Dominic And The Ladies Purse: Reason Behind The Delay

For the uninitiated, the OTT rights of Dominic And The Ladies Purse was originally bagged by the streaming giant Amazon Prime Video. It was also confirmed that the movie will stream on the platform by the end of February 2025. But, according to the grapevine, Amazon Prime Video backed out from the deal, citing the underwhelming box office performance of the Mammootty starrer as the reason. Ever since, Gautham Vasudev Menon's film was struggling to find another OTT platform.

Mammootty appeared in the role of CI Dominic, a lazy yet brilliant private detective in the Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial, which stars Sushmitha Bhat, Gokul Suresh, Vineeth, Viji Venkatesh, Siddique, and others in the pivotal roles. Darbuka Siva composed the songs and original score for the film. Anthony handled the editing. Vishnu Dev is the director of photography. Dominic And The Ladies Purse is bankrolled by the megastar's home banner, Mammootty Kampany.
