Eko Hit Or Flop? Early Audience Verdict On Sandeep Pradeep Starrer Directed by Dinjith Ayyathan

Eko Hit Or Flop? The mystery thriller film, which marks the reunion of Kishkindha Kaandam director-writer duo Dinjith Ayyathan and Bahul Ramesh, is released in the theatres. Sandeep Pradeep, the Padakkalam fame actor plays the lead role in Eko, which stars Vineeth and Narain in pivotal roles. According to director Dinjith, this film is the third installment of his 'animal trilogy', which includes Kishkindha Kaandam and Kerala Crime Files: Season 2.

Eko: Hit Or Flop?

Just like director Dinjith Ayyathan's previous outing, Eko hit the theatres without a massive pre-release hype. However, the Sandeep Pradeep starrer has been receiving unanimously positive reviews after its initial shows. While considering the early audience verdict, it is safe to assume that Malayalam cinema has yet another winner in 2025 with this mystery thriller film. The cinephiles, who took to their social media handles to share their verdict on the film, are calling it a 'must watch', and a 'masterpiece'.

Eko revolves around a misty high range area named Kaattukunnu. The movie revolves around Mlaathi Chedathi and Peeyoos, who face a series of unexpected hardships and struggles to cope up with the sudden changes around them. Meanwhile, a multi-faceted businessman and outlaw named Kuriyachan, who has a complex past, tries to build the gap between the myths and reality, thus reinforcing his consistent influence over the hills. Biana Momin appears as Mlaathi Chedathi in Eko, which stars Sandeep Pradeep in the role of Peeyoos, the caretaker.

Along with Sandeep Pradeep and Biana Momin, Eko features a massive star cast including Sim Zhi Fei, Vineeth, Saurabh Sachdeva, Narain, Saranya Ponvannan, Ashokan, Saiju Kurup, Binu Pappu, and others in the pivotal roles. Mujeeb Majeed composed the songs and original score. Writer Bahul Ramesh himself handled the cinematograhy. Sooraj ES handled the editing. Eko is produced by MRK Jhayaram, under the banner Aaradhyaa Studios.
