However, the recent updates by Sacnilk suggests that Prithviraj Sukumaran's film, which released on the same day, has almost tanked at the box office. Vilaayath Budha has made a total net collection of around ₹4.60 crore from the domestic (all-India) box office, within the first 7 days of its release. In that case, the worldwide collection of the Jayan Nambiar directorial might have reached around ₹6 crore. It is indeed a poor collection for the film, which just completed its first week at the theatres.
