L2: Empuraan Box Office Collection Day 14 (Early Updates): With the release of Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer 'L2: Empuraan' (L2E), the Malayalam film industry got its new highest-grossing film. Amidst strong pre-release buzz, the Prithiviraj Sukumaran directorial hit cinemas worldwide on 27th March 2025. Meeting up to the hype, the film had an impressive first week, but the movie started to record noticeable drop in numbers in 2nd week, especially on week days. Ahead of Bazooka release, Empuraan is witnessing further downward trend today. As the Malayalam-language action-thriller sequel is gearing to complete two weeks on big screens today (April 9), let's take a closer look to its performance.

L2: Empuraan (Lucifer 2) Total Box Office Collection So Far

Amidst a raging craze, Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran's highly-anticipated action-thriller L2: Empuraan, a sequel to their 2019 film 'Lucifer', opened to a whopping box office collection of Rs 21 cr (including all languages). Despite slight drops, the sequel maintained its overall momentum and netted Rs 84.35 cr in its 1st week.

After a decent 2nd weekend, L2E numbers saw huge drop. As per Sacnilk, the movie recorded its lowest single-day yesterday (day 13, April 8) and managed to add around Rs 1.3 cr only, taking the overall collection to Rs 101.2 cr in 13 days. With an overseas earning of Rs 141.15 cr, the movie grossed Rs 259.50 cr worldwide.

Mohanlal's L2 Empuraan is having an even more slow run at the box office today ahead of Bazooka release tomorrow. According to the latest Sacnilk update, L2E is said to have minted Rs 60 lakhs only on its 14th day (today) till 7:45 PM, struggling to even touch Rs 1 cr mark. As of now, the total numbers are reported to be at Rs 101.8 Cr.

L2: Empuraan seems to be struggling to even earn 50% of what it has collected in its first week. While the film touched Rs 84.35 cr (nett) in week 1, the 2nd week figures are estimated to be Rs 17.45 cr till now. To note, the final day 14 number is yet to come.
