Kalamkaval Box Office Collection Day 25: The neo-noir crime thriller, which stars Mammootty and Vinayakan in the lead roles was released on December 5, 2025. As Kalamkaval steps into its 25th day of release, it has successfully emerged as the fourth highest grossing Malayalam film of 2025. The Mammootty starrer has now surpassed the lifetime collections of Pranav Mohanlal's Dies Irae, and Dulquer Salmaan's Kurup.

Kalamkaval Box Office Collection Day 25

Recently, the makers of the megastar's home banner Mammootty Kampany, which bankrolled the Jithin K Jose directorial, had confirmed that the film crossed ₹83 crore mark at the worldwide box office. As per the recent updates, Kalamkaval is now set to touch the ₹84 crore mark at the box office, and has already surpassed the lifetime collections of Pranav Mohanlal's recent box office hit Dies Irae, and Dulquer Salmaan's popular film Kurup.

For the uninitiated, Dies Irae, which is helmed by Rahul Sadasivan, earned around ₹83 crore from the worldwide box office, within its lifetime run. Kurup, which is helmed by Sreenath Rajendran, had made over ₹82 crore from its box office run globally. Mammootty's Kalamkaval, which is about to complete the 25th day of its release, is expected to cross the ₹85 crore mark at the worldwide box office by the time it completes its lifetime theatrical run.

Kalamkaval OTT, Cast And Crew

As reported recently, the Jithin K Jose directorial is all set to make its OTT debut on popular platform Sony LIV, in January 2026. The exact OTT release date of Kalamkaval has not been revealed yet. But, it is safe to assume that the Mammootty starrer will release on the platform by the first or second weekend of January 2026.

The megastar plays the role of Stanley Das, a closet serial killer in the film which stars Vinayakan as Jayakrishnan, a highly efficient cop. Kalamkaval features a massive star cast including Gibin Gopinath, Rajisha Vijayan, Gayathri Arun, Shruti Ramachandran, Vaishnavi Sai Kumar, Dhanya Ananya, Mohanapriya, Sindhu Varma, Sidhi Fathima, Seema, Kabani, and others. Mujeeb Majeed composed the songs and the original score for the neo-noir crime thriller. Faisal Ali is the director of photography. Praveen Prabhakar handled the editing.
