Kalamkaval marked the directorial debut of Kurup fame writer Jithin K Jose. Now, as the movie is set to completes its Day 1 at the theaters, the box office analysts suggest that double digit opening is on cards for Mammootty's film.

According to the recent updates by the film industry analyst AB George, a double digit opening is on cards for Kalamkaval, on its Day 1 at the worldwide box office. The hourly ticket sale for Mammootty and Vinayakan's film has crossed 15.58K on the popular platform, Book My Show. The trade experts suggest that a very good opening is confirmed for the film at the Kerala box office. So, it is safe to assume that the total Day 1 worldwide collection will cross ₹10 crore mark.

The recent reports by the box office tracking website hints that Kalamkaval might cross at least ₹5 crore mark at the all-India box office, with its net collection. In that case, the gross collection from the domestic box office might touch ₹6 to 7 crore. The Mammootty starrer has been receiving an equally overwhelming response from the UAE and GCC centers, as well as the rest of the overseas release centers. This is expected to have a positive impact on the film's worldwide opening collection.

Kalamkaval OTT, Star Cast, Crew And More

As reported earlier, Kalamkaval is expected to have its OTT release on renowned streaming platform Sony LIV, after completing its lifetime theatrical run. Along with Mammootty and Vinayakan, the film features Gibin Gopinath, Rajisha Vijayan, Shruti Ramachandran, Gayathri Arun, Azees Nedumangad, Biju Pappan, Vaishnavi Sai Kumar, Dhanya Ananya, and others in the pivotal roles.
