Kalamkaval Box Office Kerala Collection Day 22: Mammootty is back to the success track after a short low phase, with the recently released Jithin K Jose film. The megastar played the lead antagonist in Kalamkaval, which stars Vinayakan as the protagonist. Even after completing 22 days in the theatres, the Mammootty starrer has been maintaining an excellent hold at the box office.

The latest X (formerly Twitter) update by the industry tracker AB George suggests that Kalamkaval has been delivering a steady performance at the Kerala box office, even after 22 days of its release. The Christmas 2025 releases have clearly not managed to slow down the Mammootty starrer, which has the strong backing of excellent reviews and word-of-mouth publicity. The crime thriller has collected ₹36.55 crore from the state, in 22 days.

Now, the Jithin K Jose directorial is the veteran actor's third highest grossing film at the Kerala box office, after Bheeshma Parvam and Kannur Squad. If things go at the same rate, Kalamkaval is expected to cross the ₹40 crore mark in the home state, by the time it completes its lifetime run at the theatres. Mammootty's film, which has been performing exceptionally well during the Christmas weekend, is expected to continue the same during the final week of December 2025, as well.

Kalamkaval Cast And Crew

Mammootty playes the role of Stanley Das, a cold-blooded serial killer in the film, which stars Vinayakan in the role of Jayakrishnan, a police officer. Gibin Gopinath, Rajisha Vijayan, Gayathri Arun, Shruti Ramachandran, Vaishnavi Sai Kumar, Dhanya Ananya, Mohanapriya, Sindhu Varma, Sidhi Fathima, Seema, Kabani, and others appear in the supporting roles in the Jithin K Jose directorial.

Mujeeb Majeed has composed the songs and the original score for the neo-noir crime thriller. Faisal Ali is the director of photography. Praveen Prabhakar handled the editing. Kalamkaval is produced by the megastar's home banner Mammootty Kampany, and distributed by Wayfarer Films.
