Kalamkaval Box Office Worldwide Collection Day 13: Mammootty, the legendary actor teamed up with newcomer Jithin K Jose for the crime thriller, which marked the latter's directorial debut. Vinayakan played the protagonist in Kalamkaval, which features Mammootty in the role of the antagonist. Now, as the movie completed the first 12 days of its release, it is all set to enter the prestigious ₹80 crore club of Malayalam cinema.

As per the recent updates by the trade experts, Kalamkaval is gearing up to cross the ₹80 crore mark at the worldwide box office, by the end of its Day 13 at the worldwide box office. In that case, the neo-noir crime thriller will emerge as its leading man Mammootty's third highest grossing film, after Bheeshma Parvam and Kannur Squad.

However, while considering the current box office trends, it is highly unlikely for Kalamkaval to enter the ₹100 crore club of the Malayalam film industry, within its lifetime run at the theatres. The movie, which has witnessed a slight dip in its box office collections on second week, might not recover from it during the third weekend, due to the massive release of Dileep and Mohanlal's Bha Bha Ba.

If things go at the same rate, Mammootty and Vinayakan's highly acclaimed film might cross the ₹90 crore mark at the box office. Kalamkaval is expected to cross the lifetime collections of the megastar's much-loved cop thriller Kannur Squad, by the time it comes to the end of its theatrical run. But, things might change if the Jithin K Jose directorial picks up again at the Kerala and Overseas box office, during the Christmas and New Year weeks.

Mammootty plays Stanley Das, a serial killer in Kalamkaval, which features Vinayakan in the role of Jayakrishnan, a police officer. The movie features an ensemble star cast including Rajisha Vijayan, Shruti Ramachandran, Gibin Gopinath, Gayathri Arun, Azees Nedumangad, Kunchan, Biju Pappan, Vaishnavi Sai Kumar, Malavika Menon, Dhanya Ananya, and others.
