Kalamkaval FDFS And Special Premiere Show Timings Revealed: Mammootty is returning to the big screens after an unexpected break from films, with the upcoming Jithin K Jose directorial. The movie, which is touted to be a neo-noir crime thriller, features the megastar as the lead antagonist. Vinayakan, the popular actor is set to play the protagonist in Kalamkaval, which is now gearing up to hit the theatres on December 5, 2025.

If the recent updates are to be believed, leading man-producer Mammootty and his team have no plans to conduct fans shows in Kerala or other major Indian cities, so far. As per the reports, the first shows of Kalamkaval will be held at 9 AM at the majority of the releasing centers, across India. The team reportedly made this consious decision to avoid fans shows, as the Mammootty-Vinayakan starrer does not fit in that category of films.

However, things are a big different when it comes to the overseas release centers. Recently, Hamsini Entertainment, the overseas distribution partners of Kalamkaval, confirmed that the special premiere shows of Mammootty's long-awaited film will be held across all the major release centers in the country. The Kalamkaval Canada premiere will be held a day earlier - on December 4, 2025. In that case, the Malayalam film fanatics from Canada will be the first set of audiences to watch the Jithin K Jose film in the big screens.

Kalamkaval Cast And Crew

Mammootty plays Mohan Nair, a mysterious man in the Jithin K Jose directorial, which stars Vinayakan in the role of Thomas Chacko, a police officer. Gibin Gopinath, Rajisha Vijayan, Gayathri Arun, Shruti Ramachandran, Vaishnavi Sai Kumar, Dhanya Ananya, Mohanapriya, Sindhu Varma, Sidhi Fathima, Seema, Kabani, and others play the supporting roles. Mujeeb Majeed composes the music score. Faisal Ali is the director of photography. Praveen Prabhakar handles the editing. Kalamkaval is produced by Mammootty Kampany and distributed by Wayfarer Films.
