Sarvam Maya, which stars Nivin Pauly in the lead role and newcomer Riya Shibu as the titular character, has been receiving positive reviews from the audience after its initial shows.

From the early audience verdict, it is safe to assume that the star-studded film is not a scary horror experience, but a simple comedy entertainer for this festival season.

However, the film fanatics who were expecting an intriguing movie experience that keep them hooked to the screens, are a little disappointed with Sarvam Maya. According to them, the movie has nothing exciting to offer. When it comes to the performances, Nivin Pauly shows that he is back to the form by delivering an energetic performance. Riya Shibu, the debutante who played Maya in the film, has also highly impressed the cinephiles.

Nivin Pauly is appearing as the central character Prabhendu, a simpleton who passed his marriageable age, in Sarvam Maya. Riya Shibu appears as the titular character Maya in the film, which stars Preity Mukhundhan, Aju Varghese, Janardhanan, Alphonse Puthren, Arun Ajikumar, Raghunath Paleri, Madhu Warrier, Althaf Salim, and others in the key roles.

Sarvam Maya is scripted by director Akhil Sathyan himself, who has also handled the film's editing as well. Justin Prabhakaran composed the songs and the original score for the film. Sharan Velayudhan is the director of photography. The project is bankrolled by Ajaya Kumar and Rajeev Menon, under the banner Firefly Films.
