The recent updates by the box office tracking website Sacnilk suggest that Sarvam Maya made an excellent opening at the worldwide box office, by making a gross collection of over ₹8.10 crore on Day 1. It is indeed an extraordinary start for Nivin Pauly and Akhil Sathyan's film, which was released without much pre-release hype or excessive promotions. But, the horror comedy failed to beat the Day 1 collections of Bha Bha Ba, the Dileep starrer which was released on December 18, 2025.

For the uninitiated, the action comedy film, which featured the Janapriyanayakan in the lead role, and Mohanlal in a special cameo appearance, had collected over ₹14.82 crore from the worldwide box office on Day 1. Despite receiving mixed reviews from the audiences, Dileep's ambitious venture was highly benefitted from the Empuraan star's unmatched box office pull, and the extraordinary promotional campaign.

Coming back to Sarvam Maya, Nivin Pauly's film reportedly collected over ₹3.35 crore from the Kerala box office, ₹3.95 from the all-India centers, and over ₹4.05 crore from the overseas box office, on its Day 1. If things go at the same rate, the Akhil Sathyan directorial might emerge as the popular star's highest grossing film, all thanks to the positive reviews and word-of-mouth publicity.
