The Akhil Sathyan directorial has now emerged as the sixth fastest ₹50 crore film of Malayalam cinema, after Empuraan, Thudarum, Lokah, Aadujeevitham, and Lucifer. Nivin Pauly's film has now officially beaten Dileep's Bha Bha Ba at the box office, with its fast paced growth.

For the uninitiated, the action comedy film, which stars Mohanlal in a special role, has not entered the ₹50 crore club yet. Despite featuring a massive star cast, Bha Bha Ba was let down by its negative reviews. Even though the movie has reportedly collected around ₹47 crore at the worldwide box office, it is yet to achieve the superhit status. It is because the box office collection has not matched up with its massive budget, which reportedly exceeds ₹40 crore.
