Vrusshabha Box Office Collections Day 1 Prediction: Mohanlal, the Malayalam superstar is teaming up with director Nanda Kishore for the period fantasy action drama. Vrusshabha, which was officially announced in July 2023, with a different star cast. After multiple setbacks and delays, the Mohanlal starrer is now finally gearing up for a pan-Indian release on December 25, 2025.

According to the recent reports by the trade experts, Vrusshabha has been registering shockingly low advance booking rates. The industry insiders are baffled to see the lack of hype on the upcoming fantasy action drama, which marks Mohanlal's fifth outing in 2025. The legendary actor, who otherwise had an extraordinary run at the box office this year, might have an underwhelming release with the Nanda Kishore directorial.

The recent X (formerly Twitter) update by trade analyst Jerin Georgekutty suggest that the Mohanlal starrer has crossed ₹6 lakhs mark with its Day 1 pre-sales from Kerala. This is indeed an underwhelming opening for the Malayalam superstar, who is unarguably the biggest crowdpuller of the state. While considering the same, it is evident that Vrusshabha might end up making an underwhelming opening at the worldwide box office, on Day 1.

The current trends are not quite different for the film, which was simultaneously made in Telugu and Malayalam, in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions. Vrusshabha is not making much noise with its release in the industry. The lack of effective promotion has clearly baffled the Mohanlal fans, who are now believing that even the superstar lacks confidence in the project.

Legendary Bollywood actor Jeetendra makes a special appearance in the film.
