Who Is Riya Shibu? All About Nivin Pauly's Sarvam Maya Co-Star: Malayalam cinema is yet again having an exciting weekend with the release of Akhil Sathyan's horror comedy film. Nivin Pauly played the lead role in Sarvam Maya, which depicts a feel-good 'ghost' story. After the film's release, Riya Shibu, who played a key role in the film, has been garnering the attention of audiences.

Riya Shibu, the 21-year-old actress made her second appearance in films with the Nivin Pauly starrer, which is now performing exceedingly well at the box office. The budding actress played the titular character Maya aka 'Delulu', a friendly neighbourhood ghost. Sarvam Maya revolves around the life of Prabhendu, a rebel Namboothiri (Kerala Brahmin) man who eventually gets into his family business, only to encounter the ghost of Maya.

For the uninitiated, Riya Shibu is the daughter of senior film producer Shibu Thameens, who has bankrolled some popular films including Dulquer Salmaan's ABCD, Thalapathy Vijay's Puli, and Chiyaan Vikram starrer Saamy 2. She is also the sister of actor Hridhu Haroon, who is best known for his performances in some acclaimed films including All We Imagine As Light.

Riya Shibu followed her father Shibu Thameens' footsteps, and made her entry in to the films as a film producer. She bankrolled Chiyaan Vikram's recently released action drama film Veera Dheera Sooran, which was a major hit at the box office. She has also made a place for herself on social media platforms as an influencer, much before she made her debut as an actress.

After Sarvam Maya hit the theatres, Riya Shibu has been receiving excellent reviews for her performance as the unconventional ghost in Akhil Sathyan's film. For the uninitiated, the makers of the film had kept the actress's inclusion in the film strictly under the wraps before it's release, to keep the surprise element intact. Well, the recent social media reactions suggest that this plan benefitted the film.

Along with Nivin Pauly and Riya Shibu, Sarvam Maya features a massive star cast including Aju Varghese, Preity Mukhundhan, Janardhanan, Madhu Warrier, Raghunath Paleri, and others in the pivotal roles. The Akhil Sathyan directorial is bankrolled by the banner Firefly Studios.
