Aashan Plot, Cast And Crew

The John Paul George directorial narrates the story of Anant, an aspiring filmmaker who dreams of making it big in Malayalam cinema. He soon meets Aashan, an elderly man who also dreams of working in films. The movie narrates the exciting journey of the duo as they pursue their dreams, with a touch of humour.

Indrans plays the titular character Aashan in the film, which stars Shobi Thilakan in a pivotal role. Joemon Jyothir, Madan Gowri, Abin Bino, Kanakam, Bipin Perumballi, and others appear in the key roles in the film, which is scripted by director John Paul George, himself.

The director himself has also composed the music score for Aashan. Vimal Jose Thachil is the director of photography. Kiran Das handled the editing, and M R Rajakrishnan handled the audiography, respectively.
