Ashakal Aayiram, which stars Jayaram and Kalidas Jayaram in the lead roles, is now gearing up have its OTT release after a moderately successful theatrical run.

If the recent reports are to be believed, the OTT streaming rights of Ashakal Aayiram have been bagged by the popular streaming platform Zee5, for a decent price.

According to the grapevine, the Jayaram and Kalidas Jayaram starrer is gearing up to make its OTT debut on Zee5, in a few days. The family entertainer, directed by G Prajith, is expected to stream on the popular platform in at least three languages, including the Malayalam original, Tamil and Telugu. An official announcement on the same are expected to be revealed soon.

Ashakal Aayiram Plot, Cast And Crew

Ashakal Aayiram revolves around Ajeesh, a young social media influencer aspires to become an actor, to the much disappointment of his father, Hariharan. Later, the father-son duo's like take a different turn when the shooting of an upcoming Malayalam film, starring a big superstar is filmed at their locality. Jayaram appears in the role of Hariharan in the G Prajith directorial, which stars Kalidas Jayaram as his son Ajeesh.

Along with Jayaram and Kalidas, Ashakal Aayiram stars Asha Sharath, Sharaf U Dheen, Ishaani Krishna, Anand Manmadhan, Akhil NRD, Ramesh Pisharody, Dileep Menon, Zhins Shan, and others in the supporting roles. Ashakal Aayiram is jointly scripted by Jude Anthany Joseph and Aravind Rajendran. Sanal Dev composed music score for the film, produced by Sree Gokulam Movies.
